Whether we realize it or not, God is closest to us in our pain. The Bible is full of prayers from believers who are depressed, afraid, full of anxieties, guilty, and shamed. We never need to fear crying out to the Lord in our distress. At the local church that I serve, I routinely pray for people. I would like to pray for my blog community as well. Please, if you are brokenhearted or crushed in spirit, reach out for prayer.

Sometimes our heartache comes from sin and hurt that we have caused. I want to pray with you for God to work in your life and those you have hurt. Many times hurt comes for those we love the most. Let me pray for you. Forgiveness is impossible in our own strength. God works in our hearts to strengthen us to forgive those who have hurt us.

I work with recovering addicts, alcoholics, and those who have been sexually, physically, and emotionally abused. Nothing offends me any more. Please, bring your prayer request into the light, so that God, who is Light, can shine in your heart and bring healing.
